Earlier (here) I posted about the
poisonings of both stray and pets dogs in Moscow and how the reports I had read
claimed that the “dog hunters” who were leaving out poisoned meat were doing so
for the “sport” of killing animals. However, an article (here) from the London
Daily Telegraph suggests that their motivation is actually concern that the
dogs are a danger to children and perhaps they are being provoked by the frequent
reports about dog attacks carried in Moscow’s tabloids.
